Sunday March 16:
Final cleanup on first floor to get ready for new ceilings. Strip off a line of painted over wallpaper
next to the ceiling in our old room. Put plastic on the floors to try to protect them.
The last of the wallpaper starting to come off. 
Ready for new ceilings. 
Monday March 17:
New ceiling drywall for the first floor is hung.
The bottom of the stairway is finally covered. 
Tuesday March 18:
First coat of mud on the first floor ceiling drywall.
Old hallway. 
Our old bedroom. 
Bottom of the stairs. 
The former attic door. 
Wednesday March 19:
Second coat of mud on the first floor ceiling drywall.
Patch around the back door. 
New bit of wall in the kitchen. 
Thursday March 20:
Third and final coat of mud on ceiling. Shutters are mounted to front and sides of the house. The second floor bathroom fan vent is installed in the roof (now the snow and ice are gone).
Old bathroom. 
Andrew and Daniel's old bedroom.

No sign of the old attic door. 
The outside looks much better now. 
Friday March 21:
Drywall sanding. Cleanup of the first floor from the drywalling begins

Saturday March 22:
Daniel comes in second out of the Tiger Cubs in the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. Andrew comes in fourth (almost a trophy).
Some shades get installed on the second floor. Most of the living room floor gets cleaned and waxed.
Start cleaning up the old molding so it can be reinstalled on the first floor.
